Pasta with ham and pea cream
Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 320 g. pasta
- 200 g. peas
- 120 g. heavy cream
- Sliced onion
- 1 tbs (25 g.) butter
- 2 tbs diced ham
- 2 tbs grated Parmesan
- EVOO
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparing:
- Heat the butter and a couple tablespoons of olive oil in a non-stick pan and brown the onion, then add the peas. Cook for about 20 minutes, then add the cream.
- Stir well and, at about half the cooking time, add the diced ham and a pinch of black pepper. Let the sauce stand. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water. Drain it when al dente and pour the warm sauce.
- Sprinkle lavishly with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
