Fettuccine with tuna ragout

Ingredients (Serves 4):
  • 320 g. pasta
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 400 g. Fiorfiore tomato and basil sauce
  • 400 g. canned tuna
  • 2 tbs EVOO
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
Preparing:
  1. Put a large pan on medium heat and add the oil. Clean and finely chop the onion, carrot, celery and add everything to the pan. Brown for a few minutes, then add the drained tuna and leave to flavor for a few minutes. Add the tomato puree and let it reduce on medium heat.
  2. Cook the pasta in abundant boiling salted water, drain and pour it into the pan. Sauté and mix everything well, adding salt and pepper to taste.
