Pasta with broccoli and spicy salami

Ingredients (Serves 4):
  • 1 large broccoli crown
  • 320 g. pasta
  • 100 g. hot salami
  • Half an onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Preparing:
  1. Wash and cut the broccoli crown into small pieces. Start cooking the pasta in boiling water with a spoonful of salt. Five minutes before they are ready, add the broccoli to the boiling water. Meanwhile, slice the onion thinly and cook it in a saucepan with about 4 tablespoons of olive oil. When it is golden and tender, add the hot salami cut into thin strips and stir for a few minutes to soften it and releases its flavor.
  2. When the pasta and the broccoli are done, drain them and pour them in the pan with some of their cooking water. Toss for a few minutes to blend the flavours, then add ground pepper and serve.
