Fettuccine with tuna ragout
Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 320 g. pasta
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 1 celery stalk
- 400 g. Fiorfiore tomato and basil sauce
- 400 g. canned tuna
- 2 tbs EVOO
- Salt
- Black pepper
Preparing:
- Put a large pan on medium heat and add the oil. Clean and finely chop the onion, carrot, celery and add everything to the pan. Brown for a few minutes, then add the drained tuna and leave to flavor for a few minutes. Add the tomato puree and let it reduce on medium heat.
- Cook the pasta in abundant boiling salted water, drain and pour it into the pan. Sauté and mix everything well, adding salt and pepper to taste.
